Mare lines in the Tyrolean Haflinger Horse Breeding Association (HPT
Under the breeding programme of the Haflinger Horse Breeding Association of Tyrol, valid from 1 September 2026, it is now possible to trace the origin and affiliation to the division-section: Txx-Tha, ‘pure-bred and reared’, of mare families from all countries worldwide. Using the ISO 3166-1 numeric code, the allocation of the foal’s lifetime number (UHLN system, UELN) and the ‘Certificate of Origin’ can be verified online via the database at www.dhuzb.ch.
⇒ The Universal Life Number and the ‘Certificate of Origin’ make the origin and affiliation to the division/section of the ‘Haflinger’ horse breeding organisations HPT-ANACRHaI-FN unambiguously clear, which guarantees foal rearing and buyers the indispensable opportunity to participate in the broodmare assessment and registration process in the breed studbook corresponding to the foal or its parents.
⇒ The ISO 3166-1 numeric country
528 NLD Netherlands with 29 horses
056 BEL Belgium with 8 horses
380 ITA Italy with 2 horses
276 DEU Germany with 3 horses
208 DNK Denmark with 1 horse
520 NRU Nauru with 1 horse (an island in the Pacific Ocean)
A total of 44 horses are registered in the HPT as mare lines.
